A happy new year.   Startup Dating will have its 5th edition next.   We promise you to commit to keep providing good opportunities to meet for Japanese tech community, and would like you to support us this year, too.

The upcoming 5th edition, which will the first one in this year, focuses on “Fantasista”, an Italian word meaning playmakers.   Some entrepreneurs are very attractive and full of their compelling aura.   There are many remarkable persons in Japan’s social industry that has been making a rapid growth during the last few years.   They are striving to lead the industry for tomorrow’s Japan.

On February 10th, which is a day before Japan’s national foundation day, we will invite Mr. Kunimitsu from Gumi, who employs the slogan “Down with Zynga”, and Mr. Tanaka from Geisha Tokyo Entertainment to our panel, for foreseeing what will be happening in the year of 2011.

At the meet-up section in the second part of the event, we will have some time for lightening talks.   (Presenters at the previous event, Fluxflex and Dozens were covered on TechCrunch Japan.)   We would like to encourage all potential entrepreneurs and developers to present their great business ideas.
